The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is excited to share that 16 paper shredding events will be held throughout 2025, providing residents with a safe way to dispose of old documents and sensitive files.

“My fellow Commissioners and I are happy to once again partner with our municipalities to provide residents with multiple opportunities to safely dispose of old paperwork,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Monmouth County Reclamation Center. “These free events help residents clear out clutter and protect sensitive information—like bank statements, medical records, legal documents, and utility bills—from identity theft. I’d like to thank to our municipal partners for their role in offering this valuable service to our residents in 2025.”

With the exception of the July 14 event, which will be held from 4-8 p.m., all of the 2025 shredding events will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
