This notice is being sent on behalf of DCA's Division of Housing and Community Resources.
We are reaching out to share an important grant opportunity that may benefit many residents in your community. The Lead Remediation and Abatement Program provides funding to help homeowners and renters address lead-based paint hazards in homes built before 1978.
Lead exposure poses serious health risks, especially to young children. This program is designed to make homes safer and healthier by identifying and eliminating lead-based paint hazards.
Key benefits of the grant:
- Free lead inspections and risk assessments
- Funding to cover the cost of lead remediation or abatement work
- Improved long-term property value and enhanced family health
The household residing in the unit must be at or below 80% of Area Median Income.
